Meet Ace, a twelve year old Doxie mix weighing around 12 pounds.

Ace is a senior sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Recently, he had a large lump removed from his chest and is recovering beautifully. Through it all, he's remained calm, brave, and as charming as ever.

Ace walks wonderfully on leash, appreciates a good treat (or two!), and clearly has an appreciation for the finer things in life-soft beds, quiet strolls, and kind humans. He seems very well-mannered and would thrive in a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years with dignity, comfort, and love.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
