Meet Ruckus, a twelve year old Chihuahua mix weighing around 8 pounds.

Don't let the name fool you-Ruckus is more of a nap-on-the-couch kind of guy than a wild child. This sweet senior is looking for a quiet, relaxed retirement home where he can feel safe and loved.

Ruckus has reduced vision in one eye and some typical senior needs, like a dental, but his heart is full of love to give. He's a little unsure at first, but once he feels comfortable, his gentle and affectionate nature begins to shine.

If you have a calm home and a soft spot for older dogs, Ruckus might just be your perfect match. He's ready to spend his golden years by your side.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
