Meet Dustin, a three year old Pitbull/Husky mix weighing 70 pounds.

Dustin had a rough start-he was seen running loose for about a week and was eventually found near the police department with serious injuries. After lots of stitches, weeks of rest, and tons of TLC, Dustin is feeling a million times better and is now ready for his forever home!

This goofy guy is full of life, love, and tail wags. He's friendly, active, and always up for a good time. His big ears and bigger personality make him impossible not to love. Dustin is treat-motivated, knows the command "sit," and is always sporting a silly grin. He met another dog while with us and did very well, he even initiated a little bit of play. We think Dustin could go to a home with other dogs or a home where he is the only dog.

He's a total goober in the best way-and after everything he's been through, he's ready to trade in his past for a life filled with fun, adventure, and a family who truly cares. Looking for a cheerful companion with a heart of gold and ears to match? Come meet Dustin-he's ready to make you smile!

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
