Meet Pepper, a one year old Pit mix weighing 54 pounds.

With his stunning ice-blue eyes and outgoing personality, Pepper turns heads everywhere he goes. This handsome boy is friendly, treat-motivated, and walks like a pro on his leash. He seems well-mannered and eager to please, making him a joy to be around. We suspect Pepper may be deaf, but it's hard to confirm in the busy shelter environment-what we do know is that he doesn't let anything hold him back. He's full of life, charm, and ready to find a home that sees just how special he is. Pepper has met another dog while with us and did very well, he was very playful by the end of the meet. We think Pepper could do well in a home with another playful canine companion or would be fine where he was the only dog in the home.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
