Meet Persephone, a one year old German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 45 pounds.

Found wandering a dusty back road with her buddy Athena, Persephone has proven to be a resilient, lovable goofball with a heart of gold. While she and Athena get along beautifully, they're perfectly fine being adopted separately-each ready to find their own forever home.

Described by her finder as playful, affectionate, and great with other dogs, Persephone is the kind of pup who wins hearts wherever she goes. She's got that classic Husky charm-meaning she's delightfully talkative, hilariously silly, and occasionally a total dork (and we absolutely adore her for it!).

She walks well on a leash, loves lounging in the shade under a tree, and brings a wonderful mix of spunk and sweetness to every moment. Whether she's chatting with her signature Husky vocals or flopping over for belly rubs, Persephone is all about enjoying life and making people smile. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Persephone is your girl.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
