Meet Zeus, a one and a half year old American Pit Bull Terrier weighing 42 pounds.

Zeus is a handsome, sweet-hearted pup who's looking for a fresh start and a family to help him find his footing in the world. He came to us as an owner surrender alongside his sister Balenci, due to landlord issues. They'd lived together their whole lives, but are now being adopted out separately-which may actually help Zeus grow and learn to socialize more confidently on his own.

Shelter life has been a tough adjustment for Zeus. It's clear he didn't have much experience outside the home, and he's still figuring out how to navigate this big, unfamiliar world. The leash is new and a bit scary for him, but he's extremely treat motivated and eager to learn with the right patient, loving person by his side.

Zeus is unsure at first but has a genuinely sweet nature that shines through once he starts to feel safe. He needs someone who can take things slow, offer lots of encouragement, and help him build trust and confidence at his own pace. If you believe in second chances and have the time and heart to guide a dog who's just beginning his journey, Zeus could be the loyal, loving companion you've been waiting for.
