Meet Honey, a two-and-a-half-year-old Pit mix.

Honey came to us with her companion Hester after their beloved owner passed away. Now in a world that feels unfamiliar, Honey is trying her best to understand all the changes - and she's doing it with quiet courage and those incredibly expressive ears that swivel with curiosity whenever something catches her interest.

Honey is a medium-sized sweetheart with a soft, speckled nose and a calm, observant nature. She's great on leash and enjoys slow, steady walks - just give her time to feel safe and she'll be right there by your side, tail gently wagging.

She may seem shy or unsure at first, but with a little patience and reassurance, Honey opens up and begins to show you her tender, loyal heart. She's not the kind of dog who rushes in - she's the kind who forms a deep, lasting bond when given the chance.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
