Meet Lola, a ten-year-old Pit/Staffie mix weighing 73 pounds.

Lola is a gentle senior lady who's ready to spend her golden years enjoying the finer things in life-slow strolls in the park, soft beds, tasty treats, and plenty of couch time with her favorite humans. She came to us as a stray, but based on the information shared during intake (like being her third home), we suspect she was actually surrendered. No matter her past, Lola holds no grudges-she's friendly with everyone she meets and has a calm, loving presence that will melt your heart.

Lola came in with some ear issues we've been treating, and she's likely got a bit of arthritis (pretty standard for a gal her age). She may be a little hard of hearing these days, but don't worry-her nose works just fine, especially when treats are involved! We lovingly refer to Lola as our resident land hippo-she's stocky, adorable, and full of love. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share quiet moments, cozy evenings, and unconditional affection, Lola might just be your perfect match.

She's not asking for much-just a soft spot to land and someone to love her as much as she'll love you.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
