Meet Mark!

Mark is a 8-year-old male Heeler mix who was picked up by Animal Control in Union Gap. Sadly, no owner ever came forward for him, but he's now on the road to a brighter future.

When Mark first arrived, he was dealing with a painful abscess on his leg. Thanks to the care and treatment from our YHS clinic staff, he's feeling much better and more comfortable now. The adoption center environment has been a bit overwhelming for him, and Mark can be unsure of what's expected in such a busy setting. He's quiet in his kennel and does best when handled slowly and calmly, as too much excitement can make him feel scared.

Mark will thrive in a quiet, patient home that can help him feel safe, secure, and loved as he continues to build confidence. A fenced yard is a must, as we want Mark to be able to relax and feel secure while he settles in with his forever family.

With time, understanding, and gentle care, Mark has the potential to be a deeply loyal and loving companion.
