Meet Zoro, a two-and-a-half-year-old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix weighing 70 pounds.

Zoro is a friendly, happy, and outgoing boy who is ready to find his forever home! This good boy is eager to please and already knows several commands, including "sit," "down," and "shake." He listens well and is always happy to show off what he knows.

Zoro originally came to us as a stray, but he was microchipped, which allowed us to contact his owner. Sadly, his family was experiencing homelessness and ultimately surrendered Zoro so he could have the opportunity to find a stable, loving home.

Zoro has a fun, outgoing personality and came in with another dog. However, if you already have a dog at home, we recommend a meet-and-greet with all resident pets to make sure everyone is a good match. Zoro would also do best in a home without cats or livestock. He has gotten himself into trouble with a goat in the past, so a livestock-free home is the safest fit for him.

With his friendly nature, good manners, and willingness to listen, Zoro is a wonderful boy who has a lot to offer. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate companion who already knows his basics and is ready for a fresh start, come meet Zoro!

This pet is available for adoption on 9.22.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
