Meet Declan!

Declan is an 8-month-old male black and white Border Collie/Retriever mix with a gentle, sweet, and submissive personality. He truly feels safest when he's being held and reassured, and he thrives on kind, patient attention from the people around him.

Declan can be a little unsure at times, especially since he hasn't had much experience on a leash yet. The good news is that he's already working with staff and learning quickly-he wants to do well and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. With calm guidance, encouragement, and love, Declan's confidence continues to grow each day.

This young boy would do best in a home that understands gentle handling, offers consistency, and celebrates small wins as he learns. With kind care and positive training, Declan is going to be a wonderful, loyal companion.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
