Meet Gwen!

Gwen is an incredibly sweet 6-year-old female pit mix with a gorgeous brindle coat and a heart to match. At intake, she showed just how trusting and gentle she is-allowing her front paws to be lifted from behind so staff could examine her wounds, all while wagging her tail nonstop. She happily accepted forehead kisses and even gave that adorable, contented bully-style grumble that lets you know she's feeling safe and loved.

Gwen sits nicely for treats, absolutely loves food, and is eager to please. At a petite 40 pounds, she's a great, manageable size-big enough for cozy cuddles but small enough to fit comfortably into most homes. This very pretty girl is all sweetness and affection and would love a home where she can continue to feel cherished and secure.
