Meet Blackie, a two-and-a-half-year-old Doberman Mix weighing 65 pounds.

Blackie's world changed when his owner left him at someone's home and never came back. Despite that, this handsome guy hasn't lost his joyful spirit and is ready for a fresh start with someone who will love him for good.

Blackie is a happy, curious Doberman who wants to know everything about the world around him. He loves to explore, follow his nose, and see what's going on. Doberman lovers will appreciate his classic breed traits-he's loyal, intelligent, energetic, and very people-oriented.

He has a docked tail and beautiful natural ears that give him tons of expression. Blackie is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, which will make training a fun and rewarding experience. He could use some basic training and structure, but he's a smart boy who wants to please and will thrive with consistency and guidance.

Blackie is looking for a home that understands the Doberman breed and is willing to invest time in training, companionship, and bonding. In return, you'll gain a devoted, fun-loving companion who's ready to put his past behind him and be someone's loyal shadow.
