Meet Peanut, a six-month-old Husky mix weighing 41 pounds.

Peanut is a sweet, gentle boy with the most adorable little underbite you've ever seen - it gives him a permanently charming smile that's impossible to resist!

He was owner-surrendered to animal control alongside Leah (who is also available for adoption). The two get along well, but they do not have to be adopted together and can happily go to separate loving homes.

Peanut is wonderfully well-mannered for his age and has a calm, easygoing personality. He absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you're willing to give. He's the kind of dog who leans into you for love and makes you feel instantly special.

One of his pleasant surprises? He's surprisingly good on leash! Walks with Peanut are relaxed and enjoyable, making him a great companion for neighborhood strolls or peaceful afternoon outings.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
