Meet Kali, a three-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 53 pounds.

Kali is a sweet, gentle mom who has had a tough start in life. She was brought in as a stray along with her puppies and Khole, who we believe is her sister. Though her past has made her a bit nervous, Kali has a quiet, loving soul just waiting for a patient, understanding home.

She needs a little extra TLC and someone willing to go slow, allowing her to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Kali shows a sweet, devoted nature that makes all the patience worthwhile.

If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion to nurture and watch blossom, Kali is ready for a calm, caring home where she can finally feel secure and cherished. She may be a little shy at first, but her heart is full of love for the right family.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
