Meet Spartacus, a three-year-old Doberman/Weimaraner mix weighing 70 pounds.

Spartacus is a lovable boy with a heart full of loyalty and a personality that's equal parts derpy and devoted. He came to us through a caring finder and got along wonderfully with their small dog, but he does get very excited when he sees other dogs - so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you already have canine companions at home.

This boy can be a little nervous in new situations, but don't worry - he warms up quickly once he knows he's safe. Spartacus bonds fast and fiercely, forming strong, loving connections with the people he trusts. He's the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your cheerleader, and your snuggle buddy all in one.

Spartacus may have a bit of a scaredy-cat side, but that only makes his goofy, derpy moments even more endearing. With patience, consistency, and reassurance, he thrives and shows just how much love he has to give. If you're ready for a loyal, goofy, and deeply affectionate companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Spartacus is your perfect match.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
