Meet Lainey - a beautiful young yellow Lab with a very sweet heart. At just 10½ months old, she's still a big puppy who is learning everything from the ground up.

Lainey is incredibly loving with her people and bonds closely once she feels safe. She truly wants to connect - she just hasn't had the guidance or socialization she needed early on. Because of that, the world can feel overwhelming for her at times.

She has not yet been leash trained and is not housebroken, so she will need a committed adopter who is ready to start with the basics. The good news? She's young, smart, and very capable of learning with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.

Lainey would do best as the only dog in the home where she can build confidence without the added stress of other pets. A structured environment, gentle leadership, and someone willing to invest time in training will help her truly blossom.

This sweet girl doesn't need perfection - she needs someone willing to teach her. In return, you'll get a loyal, loving companion who will form a deep bond and grow alongside you.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
