Meet Lilly - a sweet 1-year-old black Lab mix who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. She has a gentle heart and a sensitive nature, which means new things can feel a little overwhelming for her at first.

Lilly is a very kind girl who just needs time, patience, and reassurance to build her confidence. Once she feels safe with someone, her sweet personality really starts to shine through.

She previously lived in a home with a cat. While she never bothered the cat, she would actually get scared when the cat hissed at her - showing that she's more timid than anything.

Lilly would do best in a calm, understanding home where she can go at her own pace and continue learning that people can be trusted. With patience and kindness, this lovely girl has the potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
