Meet Courage, a one-and-a-half-year-old Pit/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix weighing around 35 pounds.

Courage is a stunning brindle boy with the most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen. His unique look turns heads everywhere he goes, but it's his gentle heart that truly makes him special.

Courage is a sweet and sensitive pup who's still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. New situations can make him a little nervous and unsure at first, but with patience, kindness, and reassurance, his affectionate personality begins to shine. He's looking for a calm, understanding home that will give him the TLC, confidence-building, and socialization he needs to blossom.

One thing Courage already excels at is walking on leash - he enjoys getting out for strolls and stays well-mannered by your side. With time and trust, he's sure to become a loyal companion who will reward your love with endless devotion.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
