Meet Skinny, a one-year-old Border Collie/Husky mix weighing 63 pounds.

Skinny is a gentle soul who's ready for a fresh start. Skinny was found as a stray after spending about a week on the run before animal control was finally able to bring him to safety. Since arriving, he has shown himself to be a very sweet boy, though the world is still a little overwhelming for him right now.

Everything seems new to Skinny, and while he can be nervous in unfamiliar situations, he truly wants to please and looks to people for reassurance. Despite likely having very little experience before coming in, he has already surprised everyone by walking nicely on a leash and trying his best to learn.

Skinny will thrive in a patient, caring home that can give him the time, love, and socialization he needs to build confidence. With some TLC, gentle guidance, and consistency, this sweet boy has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
