Meet Gael, a one and a half year old Retriever/German Shepherd mix weighing 50 pounds.

Gael is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter! This happy, outgoing girl has never met a stranger and seems to believe that every person she encounters is a potential new best friend. Her cheerful personality is impossible to miss, and her enthusiasm for life is downright contagious.

Playful and full of fun, Gael loves toys-especially anything with a squeaker. Watching her bounce around with a favorite toy is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. She's a silly girl who knows how to have a good time and is always ready for the next adventure.

Gael is also highly treat motivated, which has helped her learn "sit." She enjoys interacting with people and is eager to show off her skills when snacks are involved. Her combination of friendliness, playfulness, and willingness to learn makes her a joy to spend time with.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
