Meet Rainier, a two-and-a-half-month-old Lab/Rottie mix weighing 25 pounds.

Rainier's story began when he and his siblings were found in a cherry orchard, but now this big, handsome boy is ready to leave his past behind and find a loving home of his own.

Rainier is an outgoing, friendly goofball who loves to have fun. He approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a playful spirit that is sure to keep his family smiling. Whether he's making new friends, playing with his toys, or showing off his goofy personality, Rainier is always ready to be part of the action. He enjoys people and is eager to share his affection with everyone he meets.

As a young dog, Rainier is still learning and growing. Like many adolescent dogs, he can be energetic, excitable, and occasionally forget that his size makes him a little bigger than he thinks he is! Because of this, continued training and structure will be important as he matures into a well-mannered adult companion.

Puppy and basic obedience training are some of the best investments a family can make for a young dog like Rainier. Positive reinforcement training helps build confidence, teaches good manners, strengthens the bond between dog and owner, and provides important mental enrichment. Skills such as leash walking, polite greetings, recall, and impulse control will help Rainier succeed in his new home and out in the community.

Rainier is looking for a family that will embrace his playful nature while providing the guidance, consistency, and love he needs to thrive. In return, he'll offer endless entertainment, loyal companionship, and plenty of laughs with his goofy antics.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
