Meet Godfather, a fourteen year old Chihuahua mix weighing six pounds.

Godfather is a tiny senior gentleman who is ready for nothing more than a soft bed, a warm lap, and a peaceful retirement. He came to us after his owner was arrested, and now he's hoping his next chapter is filled with comfort, kindness, and stability.

This little guy is easygoing and enjoys a slow-paced lifestyle. He takes plenty of naps, moves through the world at his own gentle rhythm, and is happiest simply being close to his people. Godfather does have some age-related changes-he doesn't see or hear well-but he gets around just fine and takes everything in stride.

Because of his small size and sensory limitations, a home without young children would likely be the best fit for him. He would thrive in a calm environment where he can feel safe and cared for without too much hustle and bustle.

As a senior dog, Godfather may need ongoing dental care and routine senior wellness support as he continues to age, but what he offers in return is priceless: quiet companionship, sweetness, and a devoted little presence by your side.

Godfather isn't asking for much-just a loving home, a cozy place to rest, and someone willing to let him spend his golden years exactly where he belongs: cherished.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
