Meet Romeo, a two month old Lab/Chihuahua mix weighing eight pounds.

Romeo is a sweet, social puppy who is just beginning his journey in life. He came to us through our My Last Litter program, which helps reduce pet overpopulation by spaying mom dogs while also finding loving homes for their puppies. His mom is a Lab mix, and dad is believed to be a smaller dog, possibly a Chihuahua mix-so Romeo and his littermates are likely a fun blend of many breeds, and it will be exciting to watch them grow.

Romeo has shorter legs like some of his siblings, but don't let that fool you-he's an outgoing, playful boy with a friendly personality and a curious spirit. He enjoys exploring, meeting new people, and taking in the world around him with puppy enthusiasm.

Like all puppies, Romeo will need continued socialization, training, and structure as he grows. Positive early experiences with new people, places, sounds, and other animals will be especially important in helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.

Romeo is looking for a loving home that is ready for the joys (and challenges!) of puppyhood and can guide him with patience, consistency, and plenty of encouragement as he learns and grows.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
