Meet Anubis, a four year old German Shepherd mix weighing 75 pounds.

With his striking features and regal appearance, Anubis is sure to turn heads wherever he goes. This handsome boy has a unique look that matches his larger-than-life presence. Beneath that impressive exterior is a curious dog who's still learning about the world around him.

Anubis is experiencing a lot of new things and is eager to explore his surroundings. Because of this, he'll benefit from a patient family that can help build his confidence while teaching him the basics. He could use some work on his leash manners and would thrive with positive reinforcement training to help him become the best companion he can be.

Anubis is looking for a home without chickens or other small animals. He came to us after getting into trouble with chickens, so for everyone's safety, he needs a home where he won't have access to poultry or small pets.

With consistency, structure, and plenty of love, Anubis has the potential to grow into a wonderful companion. If you enjoy watching a dog learn, gain confidence, and discover the world one adventure at a time, Anubis could be the perfect fit.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
