Meet Silky, a four-year-old Border Collie mix weighing 40 pounds.

Silky is a sweet, affectionate girl whose favorite place is right by your side. She's incredibly people-oriented and always eager to please, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, Silky will happily be your shadow.

Silky came to us in rough condition, covered in ticks and with a large scar around her neck that suggests she may have once worn an embedded collar. While we may never know her full story, what matters most is who she is today-a loving, friendly dog who is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter.

As a Border Collie mix, Silky is likely to be intelligent, eager to learn, and happiest when she has opportunities for both mental and physical activity. Border Collie mixes often form strong bonds with their families and thrive when they're included in everyday life, whether that's going for walks, learning new tricks, or simply spending time together.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
