Meet Tika, a two month old Pit/Husky mix weighing around 14 pounds.

Tika is a sweet puppy with a bright future ahead of her. She and her sister, Tish, were found covered in ticks, but thanks to the care they received, they are now healthy, happy, and ready to find loving forever homes.

Like all puppies, Tika is full of curiosity and is eager to learn about the world around her. She will thrive with a family committed to positive, reward-based training and plenty of socialization. Exposing her to new people, places, sounds, and experiences in a safe, positive way will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. Puppy training classes are also a great way to build her skills while strengthening the bond with her new family.

Tika is looking for a home that will provide love, patience, and guidance as she continues to grow. In return, she'll offer loyal companionship, plenty of happy tail wags, and the joy that only a puppy can bring.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
