Meet Petra, a one-and-a-half-year-old Staffie mix weighing 50 pounds.

If you're looking for a dog who will make you smile every single day, Petra is your girl! This happy sweetheart has the most adorable sploot, loves soaking up belly rubs, and will gladly accept any attention you're willing to give. We just can't get enough of her joyful personality!

Petra bonds quickly with the people she meets and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes it easy to fall in love. The kind people who found her described her as sweet and well-behaved, and she's continued to show us what a wonderful companion she is.

When Petra arrived, she had a rash on her belly that's healing nicely. It may be a sign that she has some skin sensitivities or allergies, so her future family should be prepared to help keep her comfortable if those continue.

With her loving heart, easygoing personality, and irresistible sploots, Petra is ready to find a family who will spoil her with belly rubs, love, and the happy life she deserves. Could that be you?

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
