Meet Bigfoot, a three-and-a-half-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing 25 pounds.

Bigfoot's journey hasn't been an easy one. He was found as a stray, and it's clear he hasn't had much positive interaction with people. Right now, he's a very scared puppy who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. While he may be shy and cautious, he deserves the chance to experience the love and security of a patient home.

Bigfoot will need a family that understands he isn't your typical outgoing puppy. He requires plenty of time, patience, and gentle socialization to help him build confidence at his own pace. Because he's still very fearful, he would do best in a home without young children.

For his safety, Bigfoot should not be allowed to roam freely in the house or outside until he has had time to settle in and build trust. He should always be on a leash or in a securely enclosed area, as frightened dogs can be quick to flee if given the opportunity.

One thing that brings Bigfoot out of his shell is other dogs. He noticeably perks up around confident, friendly dogs, and we believe he would thrive in a home with a well-socialized canine companion who can help show him that people aren't so scary.

Bigfoot isn't looking for perfection-he's looking for someone willing to meet him where he is. Watching a fearful puppy learn to trust is one of the most rewarding experiences, and with time, patience, and kindness, Bigfoot has the potential to blossom into a devoted companion.
