Meet Shyla, an eleven-month-old Doberman/German Shepherd mix weighing 52 pounds.

Shyla is an absolutely adorable girl with big, expressive ears, the sweetest smile, and the cutest little grunts that are sure to make you laugh. She's a gentle, submissive dog with a soft heart who's looking for a patient family to help her discover just how wonderful life can be.

New experiences can be a little overwhelming for Shyla, and she's especially unsure about walking on a leash. Since she isn't leash trained yet, she'll need a family willing to go at her pace and help her build confidence through gentle, positive training.

Despite her shy nature, Shyla is incredibly sweet and eager to form a bond with people she trusts. With a little TLC, encouragement, and consistency, she's sure to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. Watching her confidence grow will be one of the most rewarding parts of welcoming her into your home.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
