Meet Obie, an eleven year old Pit mix weighing 50 pounds (he has gained 16 pounds since coming to us extremely emaciated).

Meet Obie, a sweet senior boy who deserves nothing but love and comfort in his golden years.

Obie came to us after being seized by Animal Control alongside another dog. He arrived severely emaciated and suffering from chronic ear infections, and it's clear this sweet boy has been through a lot. Despite his rough past, Obie remains friendly and has so much love to give.

He knows "sit" and is ready to leave the hardships behind and start a new chapter filled with kindness, patience, and all the comforts he deserves. As a senior, Obie will need continued care, including possible dental procedures in the future and the usual needs that come with his golden years.

Obie has already been through more than any dog should have to endure. Now, we hope to find him a loving home where he can finally feel safe, be cherished, and enjoy the good life he deserves. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his happily ever after?

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
