Meet Maverick, a nine year old Doberman mix weighing 74 pounds.

Maverick is a handsome senior Doberman who may not have had the easiest life, but he is making the most of every good thing that comes his way now.

Maverick arrived with a wound on his back that is healing, and he will need a family prepared to care for his senior needs as he continues to age. Despite everything he has been through, he is a happy boy who seems genuinely amazed by all the new and wonderful things he is discovering.

Maverick is treat motivated, although he can get a little enthusiastic about snacks, so watch those fingers! He is soaking up the attention and comforts he may have been missing for much of his life, and it is wonderful to see him enjoying himself.

Doberman lovers will want to meet this sweet senior boy. Maverick deserves a loving home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, cared for, and appreciated.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
