Meet Queen, a two-year-old Pit/Cattle dog mix weighing 37 pounds.

Queen is a wonderful medium-sized girl who just needs a little time to show you what a sweetheart she is. The loud and busy kennel environment can be scary for her, and she can be a little flinchy when she's unsure. She may not open up right away, but give her a couple of days to settle in and you'll likely see a whole new side of Queen.

Once she feels safe and comfortable, Queen bonds quickly and loves showing off her playful side-including plenty of zoomies. She's also good on leash and enjoys getting out of the kennel for some quieter time with her people.

Because Queen is still building her confidence, a home without young children may be the best fit for her right now. She would love a patient family willing to let her warm up at her own pace.

Give Queen a little time, a little patience, and a safe place to land, and she may just become your new best friend.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
