Meet Dustin, a two-and-a-half-month-old Pit mix weighing 11 pounds.

Dustin is a sweet, outgoing puppy who has already been through a little more than most pups his age. Before coming to us, Dustin fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a tibial fracture. He currently has a splint to help his leg heal properly, and our spay and neuter clinic will continue providing care for his injury after adoption until he is fully healed.

If you live outside the area and don't want to make the trip back to our clinic for his follow-up appointments, you may need to establish care with your own veterinarian to continue monitoring his leg and healing process.

Despite his injury, Dustin is still his happy, loving self. He is outgoing, loves giving kisses, and is very treat motivated, which should make continued training a fun experience.

Dustin will need an adopter who can give him the time and care he needs while his leg heals, but once he's recovered, he's sure to be a wonderful companion. He has plenty of love to give and can't wait to find his forever home.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
