Meet Churro, a ten month old Corgi/Cattle Dog mix weighing 40 pounds.

Churro is a silly, low-riding little guy who is very human-oriented and loves having his people around. He is nervous right now, and with so many new sights, sounds, and experiences, he is still figuring out what this whole shelter life is about.

Churro is sweet and will look to his person for guidance when he isn't sure what to do. He can be a little nippy at the heels, so his new family will need to be patient and help him learn appropriate ways to interact. With consistency, reassurance, and plenty of positive reinforcement, we think this goofy boy will continue to gain confidence.

Churro would love a home where he can have someone by his side to show him the ropes and help him discover that the world isn't quite so scary after all.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
