Meet Briar Rose, a six year old German Shepherd weighing 70 pounds.

Briar Rose is a sweet, devoted German Shepherd who is ready to find a family of her very own. She's at a wonderful, mature age, past the puppy chaos, and ready to offer the kind of companionship that makes a house feel like home.

Briar Rose can be a little unsure when you first meet her, but that's understandable. German Shepherds are known for their loyalty and strong bonds with their people, and the busy, noisy shelter environment can be especially difficult for dogs who thrive on connection and routine. Give her a little patience, kindness, and time, and you'll have the chance to see the wonderful dog she truly is.

German Shepherds are intelligent, loyal, and devoted companions who often form incredibly close bonds with their families. They do best with people who can offer consistency, companionship, mental stimulation, and regular exercise. NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
