Meet Koda, a four-year-old Pit mix weighing 50 pounds.

Koda is a sweet, loving boy who just wants to be part of a family and have someone to call his own. Despite coming into our care with a fractured elbow, this gentle guy has so much love to give and is ready to find the people who will help him through his recovery and welcome him into their lives.

Koda will need to wear a cast for several more weeks, and it's important that his cast stays clean and dry while he heals. His adopter will need to be committed to following his recovery instructions and giving him the time and care he needs to get back on all four paws comfortably.

Personality-wise, Koda is such a sweetheart! He's treat-motivated, eager to please, and already knows how to sit. The person who found him also shared that he appeared to be potty trained while in her care, which is a great start for his next chapter.

Koda isn't asking for much. He just wants to be loved, included, and part of a family. For now, that means taking things slowly, enjoying gentle affection, and letting his body heal. Once he's recovered, he'll have the chance to continue learning and enjoying life with his new people.
