Meet Lobe, a three-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 66 pounds.

If you're a German Shepherd lover, Lobe might just steal your heart! This sweet boy has a face that tells a story, and while we may never know everything he's been through, his gentle heart is still shining through.

Lobe has healed wounds on his legs and a left ear that appears to have been torn off, leading us to wonder if he may have been attacked by another dog in the past. Whatever happened, Lobe doesn't seem to be holding any grudges against the world. He met another dog while in our care and did well! Slow introductions are always best, but we were happy to see him handle that interaction so nicely.

What Lobe really wants is to be close to his people. He looks to humans for direction and would likely be happiest with someone who enjoys building a bond with their dog, offering guidance, and including their four-legged friend in everyday life. He has the potential to be that loyal shadow who follows you from room to room, keeps you company, and reminds you that the best things in life come with four paws and a wagging tail.

German Shepherd lovers know what makes these dogs so special: their intelligence, loyalty, devotion, and desire to have a job or purpose alongside their humans. Lobe has that wonderful shepherd look, and he's ready for someone to see beyond his scars and recognize the sweet boy underneath.

He may have a few battle scars, but they don't define him. Lobe deserves a safe home, patient guidance, plenty of affection, and a person who will make him part of the family.

Could you be the one Lobe has been waiting for? Come meet this handsome, sweet boy and give him the chance to be your shadow, your companion, and your best friend.
